嘉宾介绍

Kevin 是全球第一个 GDG ——硅谷 GDG 的两个创办者之一。另一位是 Van Riper，全球 GDG 之父。当时还不叫 GDG，而叫 GTUG(Google Technology User Group) 。如今全球 GDG 数量已超过600个。所以，这次 Kevin 有机会来到北京特意抽出时间为北京GDG社区做分享。

Kevin 擅长于 Java 和 Web 技术领域。他对技术和技术社区非常有热情，多年如一日一直专注于相关领域。每年还会参加大量活动并做分享。他是3次 JavaOne Rock Star ， 还在众多知名活动上做过分享，如 JavaOne, Devoxx, O'Reilly Fluent, NFJS SpringOne, AnDevCon, JAX, Open Web Camp, Silicon Valley Code Camp, HTML5DevConf 等等。他是硅谷 Java 用户组、硅谷 GDG 、硅谷 JavScript Meetup 和以及 Devoxx4Kids 社区负责人。他是《Web 2.0 Fundamentals》的合作者。过去他还在圣马特奥学院（College of San Mateo）做兼职教授。Kevin 获得南伊利诺大学计算机科学学士和硕士学位。

当前，Kevin 是 Google Chromecast 工程技术团队领导。所以，这次他会为大家介绍 Chromecast 以及他在硅谷的生活。在交流环节，大家可以现场向他提问，比如各种技术问题、工程师文化、硅谷生活等。（注：本次活动 Kevin 以个人身份来为 GDG 社区分享，不代表 Google 公司）。

Kevin works at Google as the lead of the Chromecast Technical Solutions Engineer team. Prior to joining Google Kevin was the VP of Engineering at just.me, a mobile social startup funded by Google Ventures. Kevin is a Java Champion and three time JavaOne Rock Star. Kevin has spoken at conferences such as JavaOne, Devoxx, O'Reilly Fluent, NFJS SpringOne, AnDevCon, JAX, Open Web Camp, Silicon Valley Code Camp, HTML5DevConf, On Android and AjaxWorld. Kevin is the co-author of Web 2.0 Fundamentals. In the past Kevin was an adjunct professor at the College of San Mateo. Kevin holds a MS and BS in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University. Kevin is the leader of the Silicon Valley Java User Group, Silicon Valley Google Developer Group, Silicon Valley JavaScript Meetup and Devoxx4Kids Bay Area.
